２０２５年日本国際博覧会（以下、「大阪・関西万博」）の開幕に合わせて、「未来社会ショーケース事業　スマートモビリティ万博　空飛ぶクルマ」お披露目イベントが４月１３日に開催され、米国ＬＩＦＴ　ＡＩＲＣＲＡＦＴ社（以下、「ＬＩＦＴ社」）製一人乗り垂直離着陸機“ＨＥＸＡ”が公開されました。

 

１３日はあいにくの空模様となり、ＨＥＸＡのエキシビジョンフライトは中止となりましたが、お披露目イベントには大勢の一般客、関係者が来場し、万博特別仕様の“ＨＥＸＡ”の機体を初公開いたしました。

翌日１４日は青空に恵まれ、“ＨＥＸＡ”が高度１０ｍ程度まで上昇し、エキシビジョンフライトを行いました。万博における“ＨＥＸＡ”を用いたエキシビジョンフライトは、７月まで、４回のフライト期間（※1）を設けており、各期間で複数回にわたり飛行する予定です。（※2）

 

当社は、事業パートナーとの連携をさらに強化し、空飛ぶクルマの商用運航をめざします。大阪・関西万博では、空飛ぶクルマの安全性をお客様に体感していただき、これからの運航に必要な仕組みづくりを担い、空のモビリティ革命を実現することに寄与します。今後のチャレンジにご期待ください。

（※1）エキシビジョンフライトは下記の通り運航の予定です。エキシビジョンフライトが中止となる場合もあります。

第１期間：４月１３日～１５日、１９日、２０日、

第２期間：４月２６日～２９日、５月３日～６日、

第３期間：５月３１日～６月２日、６月６日～８日、

第４期間：７月１２日～１４日、７月１９日～２１日。

各日２～３回のフライトを予定しています。

（※2）会場内ポートにおいて上昇・下降・旋回などの飛行パターンを実施予定。

	大阪・関西万博にて エキシビジョンフライトを行うHEXA

 

For the Grand Opening for the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, “Future Society Showcase Project Exhibition: Smart Mobility Expo - Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)” held a launching ceremony, and the Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft (eVTOL) “HEXA” of LIFT AIRCRAFT (Texas, United States) made a debut on April 13th, 2025.

 

Unfortunately, on the 13th, the Exhibition Flight was cancelled due to an unfavorable weather though the ceremony was filled with the audience who were hoping to see “HEXA” in a special Expo design for the first time.

On the 14th, “HEXA” finally flew up to an altitude of 10 meters and successfully performed an exhibition flight. The exhibition flight using “HEXA” at the Expo is scheduled for Four flight periods (*1) until July 2025, with multiple flights planned for each flight period of a week (*2).

 

We will further strengthen mutual connection with our business partners and aim for to begin the commercial operation of eVTOL including “HEXA”. At the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, we will contribute to the realization of a revolution of Advanced Air Mobility and be allowing customers to experience the safety of AAM by taking the lead in creating the necessary framework for future operations. (*1) Flight periods during the Expo are listed below:

Period 1: April 13th-15th, 19th, 20th

Period 2: April 26th-29th, May 3rd-6th

Period 3: May 31st - June 2nd, June 6th-8th

Period 4: July 12th-14th, July 19th-21st” 

Changes may apply due to the conditions of the aircraft and weather.

(*2) Flight patterns such as ascending, descending, and circling will be performed at the designated area.
